Draughtsman

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, revise, and update technical drawings in civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
  • Convert engineers’ markups and red-line drawings into final versions for issuance.
  • Maintain drawing register, revisions log, and drawing archive system.
  • Assist engineers in reviewing contractor’s shop drawings and providing comments.
  • Ensure compliance with drafting standards and PMC/Employer CAD requirements.
 
Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Certificate in Drafting, CAD, or related field.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in technical drafting for infrastructure projects.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting tools.
  • Detail-oriented and familiar with engineering standards.
Quantity Surveyor (QS)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare cost estimates, cash flow forecasts, and cost reports for the Employer.
  • Evaluate contractor’s interim payment claims, variations, and extension of time (EOT) claims.
  • Support the Employer’s Representative in contract negotiations, claim resolution, and settlement of final accounts.
  • Monitor financial progress against project budget and contract sum.
  • Maintain records of quantities, rates, and contract cost history.
 
Qualifications:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent professional qualification.
  • 7+ years’ QS experience in hydropower or large EPC projects.
  • Knowledge of FIDIC/EPCC contract conditions.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills.
Project Contract Manager

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the contract administration team and ensure proper management of EPCC contract obligations.
  • Review contractual correspondence and advise Employer on potential risks and entitlements.
  • Manage variation orders, claims, disputes, and contract changes.
  • Coordinate with QS, document controller, and PMC engineers on contractual matters.
  • Provide strategic advice to Employer’s Representative on risk management, dispute avoidance, and negotiation strategies.
 
Qualifications:

  • Degree in Law, Quantity Surveying, or Construction/Contract Management.
  • 10+ years’ experience in contract management of large EPC/EPCC projects.
  • Deep knowledge of FIDIC and Malaysian construction law.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Safety Officer (HSE Officer)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure full compliance with project Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations, including OSHA and DOSH requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor the site-specific HSE Plan and Emergency Response Plan.
  • Conduct regular site safety audits, toolbox meetings, and accident investigations.
  • Promote safety awareness through training, campaigns, and daily briefings.
  • Prepare HSE performance reports for submission to Employer and authorities.
 
Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Degree in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent.
  • Registered Safety & Health Officer (SHO) with DOSH (Green Book holder).
  • 5+ years’ HSE management experience in large construction/power projects.
  • Excellent knowledge of safety regulations and accident prevention measures.
